Is the UP Election 2027 schedule out?

No. As of 8 November 2026, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has not announced the official schedule for the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Election 2027. No polling date, no phase-wise list and no counting date has been declared.

Any date you see on social media or in forwarded messages claiming to be the official polling date should be treated as unverified until the ECI publishes it on eci.gov.in or announces it in a press conference.

When is polling expected?

Polling is expected in February–March 2027. This is an expectation based on the election cycle, not an official announcement. The current Uttar Pradesh Assembly was constituted in March 2022 and its five-year term ends in May 2027, so the election must be held before that. The 2022 Assembly election was also held in February–March 2022, in seven phases.

The exact number of phases, the polling dates for each phase and the counting date will only be known when the ECI announces the schedule.

3. Cross-check the dates on the Chief Electoral Officer, Uttar Pradesh website at ceouttarpradesh.nic.in.
4. Check your own constituency's polling date on this website's Results page once the phase-wise list is published.

What happened in the 2022 election?

The last Uttar Pradesh Assembly election was held in February–March 2022 in seven phases, and counting was held on 10 March 2022. The Bharatiya Janata Party won 255 of the 403 seats and formed the government. The Samajwadi Party won 111 seats. These are historical results for 2022 only — they are not a prediction for 2027.
